Home backup power
In a blackout, the contents of your fridge should not be the first loss.
A portable power station is not a generator and not a rooftop solar system: it bridges the loads that matter most, quietly and indoors.
The question is not how many kilowatts but how many hours you have to bridge, and for exactly what. A fridge, a router, a laptop and lighting are already four very different loads.

This is how we would do it
In a blackout we do not think in kilowatts but in hours and in specific appliances.
Our list is short: fridge, router, one laptop, a few lamps, phones. That is what actually matters on the first day — the rest can wait.
We plug the devices straight into the station. Wiring it into the flat's circuits is a different discipline: it needs a professionally installed transfer switch and proper protection, and it does not start with this device.
What to watch for as home backup
- Length of the outage: a few hours or a whole day — this gives you the capacity.
- Fridge: the most important one, because a gap causes real loss.
- Router: critical for remote work and notifications, and it draws almost nothing.
- Laptop and phone: the work and staying reachable.
- Lighting: little energy, a big difference.
- Runtime: calculate it, do not estimate it.
Important: this is not for powering the whole house circuit. Devices have to be plugged directly into the station — wiring it into the flat's circuits needs a separate, professionally installed solution with proper protection.
Two different questions, two different answers
Home backup is not a question of size. It depends on whether you want to run the important appliances, or the flat's circuits — and those are not the same product.
Supplying the important appliances directly
You plug the fridge, the router, the laptop and the lights straight into the station. No installation, no permit, and the system can be moved anywhere. For most power cuts this is the answer.
- Usable immediately: unbox it and plug in.
- The size comes from what has to run, and for how many hours.
- Do not leave out the boiler controller: in the heating season it is what stops the heating.
Selected circuits / installed system
Backing up the house or selected circuits is an installed system that an electrician has to wire in. We only recommend a product here whose manufacturer documentation explicitly supports that use.
- The wiring is an electrician's job, and it is not in the price.
- Capacity and inverter power do not make a unit suitable for this.
- If we have no documented product, we say so — we do not offer a portable one for the same job.
