It can be charged from all three directions: solar, alternator, socket. The expansion battery is on the list but optional — measure the daily consumption first and expand afterwards.
What it solves: not having to plan mid-holiday where the next power will come from. What it does not: this is no longer a system you lift into the boot on your own.
